Location of Green Moor Activity Centre

From the North take M1 Junction 36 and follow A61 for Sheffield.

Follow road to roundabout and take the third exit, the A616 to Manchester. Take the next exit (A629 Huddersfiled). Within a quarter of a mile turn Left in to Finkle Street Lane (signposted Wortley Top Forge). If you get to Wortley you have gone too far.

Follow this road, go under the bridge and continue until you go over a little bridge and take a sharp turn Left into Well Lane towards Green Moor. After "The Rock" pub and on the left between the Chapel and the Old School building is Chapel Lane. Turn Left up the road and the Centre is about 50m on the left.

From the South take M1 Junction 35a on to the A616 to Manchester. After 2 roundabouts take the A629 exit for Huddersfield and follow as above.

From Sheffield take the A61 North and fork left onto the A629 for Huddersfield. Cross the A616 for Manchester and follw as above.

From Manchester take A616 Woodhead Road and the Stocksbridge Bypass. Take the A629 exit for Huddersfield and follow as above.

From Huddersfield leave the A629 by turning right at the traffic lights in Thurgoland (signposted Wortley Top Forge). Pass the forge on your left in the valley bottom then turn right up Well Hill and follow as above.
