The accommodation listed is suitable for Company and/or Battalion camps and has been used by Companies within the District. The Emmaus centre is situated close to Wyedale Hall, Brompton near Scarborough and offers self catering acommodation for upto 36 people. Additionally there are 4 Hope Wing bedrooms, each sleeping 4, and specially adapted for people with physical disabilities. They can be hired at extra cost. There is a recreation room, well equiped kitchen and dining room. The grounds offer a footbal pitch, multi sports pitch and a children's adventure playground. |

Greenmoor Activity Centre |

Greenmoor centre is Sheffield & District Battalion's residential centre for training and outdoor pursuits situated on the Yorkshire Pennines and is only 8 and 10 miles from the towns of Barnsley, Rotherham and the city of Sheffield. The accommodation can sleep upto 28 people on two floors. |

The Mill Activity Centre based at Glasshouses Mill in beautiful Nidderdale, near Harrogate. It is idealy suited for youth groups, school and church groups. The Mill is in prime walking, cycling, canoeing and climbing country and makes a great base to explore the Yorkshire dales. It is run on behalf of the Boys' Brigade Canoe Club for the benefit of all.
There is bunk house accomadation for 40 people in 9 bed rooms, a well equipped kitchen, a dining/meeting room, a games room, 2 showers and bathroom facilities. There is also an outdoor space for tents or games.

Scammonden Activity Centre |

Scammonden Activity Centre is a self-catering centre managed by the
Huddersfield South West District Scouts. The centre can accomodate up to 42 residents. It is situated on the edge of the Pennine Moors on the shores of Scammonden Water, and is an ideal location for walking, orienteering, climbing, bird watching, adventure training and a range of outdoor sports.

Thornthwaite Activity Centre |

Harrogate & Nidderdale District Scouts the Activity Centre will acommodate upto 40 people
in bedded rooms for two, four and six. There are showers and toilet facilities including for those with special needs on the ground floor. The centre has a spacious, well-designed and equipped kitchen, plus adjoining dining room. There are separate first aid, leaders' and drying rooms. On the top floor there is also a spacious activity hall.
The site also has a campsite set in fourteen and a half acres of woodland/heath and rolling countryside. It comprises mixed sized sites. In total the site can camp approximately 100 people. On the campsite there is a centrally heated toilet and shower block. The site is in Nidderdale approx. 30 min drive from Harrogate.

Operated by North Hull District Scouts the Activity Centre is part of the Melton Scout Campsite. The centre will acommodate upto 24 people in 8 rooms for two or four. There are showers and toilet facilities including for those with special needs. The centre has a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a dining/activity hall. The centre is located to the west, and within easy reach, of the city of Hull and can be easily acessed from the A63. The centre can be booked for week, mid week or weekends all year round, as well as day or evening training and conference events.

Hebden Hey Scout Centre, owned by Halifax District Scouts nestles in the wooded valley above Hebden Bridge, in Calderdale, West Yorkshire. The centre has two pre-bookable hostels sleeping 44 and 30 as well as two additional daytime indoor rooms available all year round. Twelve camping areas (large and small) all well grassed sites, some more secluded and away from the main buildings. Toilet and shower facilities, a 32' bouldering wall, obstacle course and probably some of the best surrounding countryside amenities of any local campsite, the main activities field adjacent to the hostels is used for a wide variety of activities either provided or your own games/events.
Whilst staying in the hostels, you will cater for yourselves, however, we provide spacious kitchens and dining rooms with all catering equipment and all cutlery & crockery.
