Founding Weekend on Air GB1BB

Hello everyone,

As some of you will know last october the Grimsby and District Battalion hosted a 'Founders Weekend on Air' where we enlisted the help of the local amateur radio club in the hope of contacting other Boys Brigade groups and other amateur radio enthusiasts nationaly and around the world. There where three other Batalions in the UK that took part and numerous other radio hams world wide who we managed to contact. This was as part of our 125 celebrations and was a resounding success, as a result we are running a similar event again over the weekend 2nd to 4th October 2009.

Please distribute this among all Battalions and Companies and if there is any interest let me know and I will organise someone to contact you with information on what you need to do.  This must be done by the BEGINING OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAY to allow enough time for it to be organised.
