DofE Award Expedition Assessor Accreditation Scheme

The next Course to be run by The Boys' Brigade to provide accreditation for expedition assessors will take place on

Saturday 7th March 2009

at The Pearson Centre for Young People,
2 Nuart Road,
Beeston,
Nottingham,
NG9 2NH

from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This course is for existing holders of The Boys' Brigade Standard or Advanced Expedition and Outdoor Leadership Certificate, all of whom should either already hold, or should obtain, before the course, the Introduction to the Award Certificate* or be able to claim exemption by completing an Accreditation of Prior Learning form.

Hot and cold drinks will be provided but those attending should take a packed lunch or be prepared to buy locally.

The cost is £30.00.

Accreditation is essential in order to undertake or continue doing assessments after 1st January 2009 and those who meet the above criteria and wish to attend this course should in the first instance e-mail Dave Mayo.

*The DofE Leaders training course which takes place at Feldon Lodge on Saturday 14th February 2009 may qualify for this certificate.
