The Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Young Volunteer Awards...

...recognise the time you spend volunteering. The volunteering you do either as part of your Company, Church or community at local, national or international levels counts towards this award.

All you need to do is keep a record of the hours you spend on your volunteering activities and that they are signed by someone who is supervising you.

The awards are:

After 50 hours	A certificate is awarded;
After 100 hours	A certificate is awarded;
After 200 hours	A cetificate and badge is awarded.

The 200 hours badge is worn on your left armband to the right of the President's Badge.

Please remember to make sure all risk assessments and health and safety briefings are carried out before you start any volunteering.
