| Description |
This fully residential course is open to all Officers and those who wish to become an Officer. The course looks at The BB & the wider youth movement, Equal opportunities, Faith Development, Child & Leader protection issues, Safety Issues, Emergency Procedures, Building Relationships and Working Effectively with Young People.
A candidate will take six of the eight core modules, the options within that are based on whether they work primarily with under 11’s or over 11’s. All participants do the Emergency Aid module plus two further modules from the Programme Modules. (For ease, these will be selected by the course staff). It is important to remember that this course will NOW allow the candidate to complete their Officer Training in one weekend.
