Training Course Details

The OMEGA ZONE 2 is a skill-based course for anyone who wants to engage young people in worship. It is a 6-hour course designed to help anyone who teaches young people in worship. Due to the success of last years course we are repeating it again this year although the topics covered in the course, although still very relevant to Boys’ Brigade work, will be different so that people who are joining us again will not repeat what they have already done.

Mr Dave Godfrey who is a songwriter, ex-teacher, trainer and worship leader will lead the course. This training aims to challenge, encourage and equip children’s workers in their Ministry. This day will be suitable for any adult that wishes to spread the Word of God in an active and exciting way. It may also be used by those interested Seniors, aged 16+, who wish to use this for their Skills Based Training section of their Queen’s Badge. Sessions include: Teaching in a Small Group Context, Using Games to Enhance a Theme, Understanding Primary Aged Children, Learning Dave Godfrey’s Songs and Actions and Helping Children to Pray, Praise and Worship.
