Training Course Details

Captains and Officers in Charge

This fully residential course is open to all Officers, who have already undertaken their YLT training. The weekend will equip all candidates with the required skills and knowledge to run effective companies. Subjects will include: The role of the Captain, what makes an effective captain? Plan good youth work, manage good youth work, and develop good youth work, recruitment of leaders and members. The course will also look at relationships with the church and the local community.

For this course to be effective in the delivery of the above objectives a group of NINE candidates is required.
